Who’s in Charge?

Who’s in charge of your world?

Who calls the shots in your life?

Who really makes your decisions for today and tomorrow?

Who would your wife say is in charge of your world?

Who would your kids say is in charge of your world?

Who would your boss (or employees) say is in charge of your world?

Who would your friends say is in charge of your world?

Who would God say is in charge of your world?

Too often whom we say is in charge of us and who others perceive to be in charge of us are two different perceptions.

We will have people in authority over us in many areas, but we must constantly ask ourselves who we may have given power over our lives who aren’t capable or responsible to have it.

If God showed up right now and told you to take an action in your home, your work, your circles of influence, whom would you have to go get permission from before obeying Him?

When we hand over the steering and the throttle to God in every area, things are going to change and get right in ways we may have never imagined.

Calling the crowd to join his disciples, he said, “Anyone who intends to come with me has to let me lead. You’re not in the driver’s seat; I am. Don’t run from suffering; embrace it. Follow me and I’ll show you how. Self-help is no help at all. Self-sacrifice is the way, my way, to saving yourself, your true self. What good would it do to get everything you want and lose you, the real you? —Mark 8:34-37 MSG
