Push the Reset Button

I have Dish Network and occasionally my system will glitch and hang up, freezing or going black. When this happens, I go to the main unit, open the little door to the few controls on the panel, and I push the reset button. I hold it in for about 5 seconds and the entire system reboots itself. Shuts completely down and restarts. It always fixes the issue. When my unit acts up, I could sit there and randomly push remote buttons, scream and threaten it, shut it off and walk away, but I’ve learned to just hit reset. Problem solved.

Randomly my Internet will start showing a low signal. I go in and open up the panel to my router, grab the opened-up paper clip I keep in there, find the tiny hole that houses the rubber button the size of a pin head, put the end of the clip in, and push. Reset. Reboot. System down. System up. Signal at full strength.

There are plenty of devices today in our lives that, for some reason, hitting the reset button seems to make all the badness go away and the proper function come back to full strength.

But if we confess our sins to God, he can always be trusted to forgive us and take our sins away. —1 John 1:9 CEV

Disobedience. Sin. Dysfunction. Low strength. Freeze up. Glitch. . . . Confess. Agree with God. Repent. . . . Reset. . . . Amazing how it works.
