A Code to Live By

John Wayne once said, “A man’s got to have a code, a creed to live by.” We all have a code that we live by. We make decisions moment by moment based on the criteria we have built and are building. This is a very busy time of year, but it’s also a great time of year to re-evaluate life and plan on going into a new year changed. Not a plan to change, but actually changed. What a great gift to give the Lord this year: a deep desire to change into His image. To throw aside some things that have been tripping you up for far too long. To get some help to stop or start something. To give the Lord the gift of lying on His altar as a living sacrifice, just as He did for us, both in the manger and on the cross. . . . Merry Christmas.
